Greetings, reader, and welcome to my blog!

If you’re reading this, you’ve probably clicked on the ‘About’ link and are hoping to find out more about this elusive blogger, whose username is, mysteriously, ‘mushroomsup’.

I’d like to begin by saying that my username is meant to be read as ‘Mushroom Sup’, with ‘Sup’ being one of my many nicknames. It is not to be read as ‘Mushrooms up’. And to all the readers who assumed that my username is a reference to the drugs popularly known as ‘magic mushrooms’, don’t worry, I forgive you for thinking that. I know it seems like I write my blog under influence, but I don’t. Honestly.

Other than the fact that I don’t do drugs, there isn’t much I can say about myself.

Maybe I should clarify one more thing – I’m a person. Don’t laugh. With all the blogging dogs and talking cats these days, you never know. After all, they do have more followers than I do.

So, here I am – an ordinary person with an ordinary blog. And I’m going to be writing about my frustrations with the world. Usually, when I tell my family and friends about my frustrations, they laugh. So I’m hoping to find some sympathetic ears – or eyes, rather- here. And if you can’t empathize with me, at least I will have (hopefully) made you laugh.

Yeah, I know what you’re thinking. I’m thinking the same thing –
They’ll let anyone have a blog these days.
